Court of Appeals set to hear $76M case titled Marc Stephens vs City of Englewood

Today, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit announced that the $76 million case filed against the City of Englewood, et al, will be submitted, on the briefs, on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. Marc Stephens, who is representing himself, is asking the Appellate Court to reverse the decision of District Court Judge William J. Martini who dismissed the civil complaint stating that the Englewood Police Department had probable cause to arrest his brother Tyrone Stephens.

Pascrell, Gottheimer Announce $128K Grant for Teaneck First Responders

TEANECK, D.C. – On April 13, 2017, U.S. Representatives Bill Pascrell, Jr. (NJ-09) and Josh Gottheimer (NJ-05) announced that the Department of Homeland Security has awarded a new federal FIRE Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) to the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps in the amount of $128,728.  “I am grateful the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps was awarded this Assistance to Firefighter Grant to ensure they have the tools needed to keep our communities safe," said Rep. Pascrell.

On March 13, 2017, Marc Stephens filed a petition for rehearing requesting that all 9 United States Supreme Court Justices hear his petition for writ of certiorari. Marc Stephens filing my be perfect timing as Judge Neil Gorsuch is expected to fill the vacancy of the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, who died unexpectedly last year, sparking a more than year-long feud among senators about the future makeup of the high court.

House Committee Passes Payne, Jr.’s Homeland Security for Children Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the House Committee on Homeland Security unanimously passed legislation introduced by Congressman Donald M. The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Marc Stephens Wins Right to Travel Case Proven Citizens are 'Not Required' to Purchase Vehicle Insurance

Yesterday, in the case titled State of New Jersey vs Marc Stephens, Fort Lee Municipal court released the order dismissing the traffic citation against Marc Stephens for driving without liability insurance coverage on a motor vehicle. The municipal prosecutor did not file an appeal.
