The Alementary Brewing Company to Provide Craft Beers at Celebrate Fall With Oktoberfest at The Community Chest

(Englewood, New Jersey; October 16, 2016) -- The Community Chest announces The Alementary Brewing Company of Hackensack, New Jersey will contribute two different craft beers for attendees to sample at the upcoming celebration, Oktoberfest at The Community Chest, on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. The local brewery opened six months ago with the goal of creating a neighborhood "watering hole".

Owners Blake Crawford, a former chemical engineer, and Dr. Michael Roosevelt, a trained molecular biologist, wanted to introduce their new business to the public and also serve the community.

Oktoberfest at The Community Chest will be held at the Englewood Field Club, located at 341 Engle Street in Englewood, New Jersey from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The event introduces the launch of the nonprofit organization's 2016-2017 Annual Campaign. The funds raised will support area nonprofit organizations that address a range of issues, including health and mental health, hunger, arts programming, the environment, volunteerism and other needs of more than 40,000 local residents of all ages hailing from Englewood, Tenafly and Englewood Cliffs.

Since The Community Chest's founding in 1933, the nonprofit organization has carried out the goal of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” with increased generosity.

Admission to the Oktoberfest is $99 per ticket and includes a great selection of craft beers, a light dinner and delicious fare prepared in Bavarian style. Souvenir mugs created especially for the occasion to fill with unlimited amounts of beer will on sale for $9.99 each. TNT Dining will serve a delicious assortment of foods to complement the craft beer. Tom Manolio will lead a live auction offering culinary, sports and special items for the home. A 50/50 raffle will be held and prizes will be awarded.
